Green Frog Farm is proud to host a special sunset bluegrass performance featuring Greenwood Rye. Led by Shawn Spencer on guitar and vocals, the band will be joined this evening by featured guest artist Jacqueline Black on electric cello.
Greenwood Rye has a sound all their own — fun, modern songs rooted in bluegrass with jam-band tendencies and the occasional kick-drum or delay pedal thrown in for good measure. They're equally at home playing original music and putting their own fresh spin on eclectic covers from across the musical spectrum, all brought to life through the warm, rich tones of acoustic bluegrass instruments.
Local artist Lindsey Russell will open the evening with an intimate acoustic set before the main event.
The show takes place on the beautiful outdoor grounds of Green Frog Farm. Bring your camp chairs or a picnic blanket and settle in for the night — food and beverage vendors will be on hand to keep you going. For a truly special experience, VIP tickets include dinner and reserved seating in the sunset pavilion, where tables of six enjoy a stunning view of the band across the pond as the sun goes down.
General admission: $22. VIP tickets: $75.
